ALPOLIC® 350
For over 25 years, Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation of America has been manufacturing ALPOLIC® aluminum composite materials for the building and construction industries. By bonding two thin aluminum sheets on either side of a thermoplastic core, it has created a product that is as rigid as heavy gauge sheet metal and can be fabricated like aluminum; yet it has only a fraction of the weight. In fact, Korman Signs and ALPOLIC® spent more than three years in the field, testing various application combinations beyond the requirements set forth in the NCHRP 350 Report. We are among the very first sign companies to meet and surpass these new requirements, so make sure the signs you buy are both NCHRP 350 tested and FHWA accepted.
